A cargo plane with Russians on board was shot down in Sudan.

According to the Sudan War Monitor, which observes the fighting in Sudan where the civil war is ongoing, this airplane was carrying cargo for the "Rapid Response Forces" paramilitary group. This is reported by zamon.uz here. The plane was accidentally shot down by fighters of this group. 

"One of the airplane's crew members might have been a Russian citizen," — writes Sudan War Monitor, relying on footage obtained from the crash site. 

Videos showing the remnants of the plane that was shot down in Sudan have been published on social media. The footage X appeared on the Alqadh News account on social media. The images show the pilots' documents, including a Russian passport for one and a special document for the other.

 The details of the incident are currently being clarified.
