71-year-old Na'im Qasim, who was considered one of the most prominent leaders and deputy of Hassan Nasrullah killed by Israel, was appointed as the new leader of the “Hezbollah” movement.

Following that, Israel commented on the appointment of the new leader to “Hezbollah”

"If Na'im Qasim follows the path of his predecessors Hassan Nasrullah and Hashim Safiuddin, his tenure in this position could be one of the shortest in the history of “Hezbollah”. There is no other way but to eliminate this organization as a military force," says the statement from the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

For your information, 71-year-old Na'im Qasim is considered one of the founders of “Hezbollah” in 1982.
