These days, it is planned to establish a bookstore in the domestic flights terminal of the capital airport.

Plans are underway to establish a bookstore, a luggage storage room, and a new café at Tashkent airport. This was announced by the Uzbekistan Airports press service reported.

The company has placed relevant lots on the E-auksion.uz electronic platform for leasing spaces located in the departure and arrival halls of the Tashkent International Airport, as well as in the area before the terminal.

It is noted that a bookstore is planned to be organized at the local flights terminal of the capital's airport in the coming days. A 20 square meter area for this store will be put up for auction. The lot's starting annual price is set at 48 million UZS.

An 8 square meter area for organizing an automated luggage storage in the departure hall of the international flights terminal has been put up for auction. The lot's starting price is — annually 144 million UZS.

Additionally, there is a plan to establish a new café on the terrace facing the city in the departure hall. This café area will be 50 square meters, and its starting price is annually set at 300 million UZS.

In the arrival hall of the international flights terminal, a 5 sq.m area has been auctioned for setting up a sales stall for SIM cards of local mobile network operators. The lot's initial value is — an annual 90 million UZS.

Moreover, in the area before the terminal, lots have been placed for ATMs with an initial annual value of 36 million UZS for a 6 square meter space and for two "food track" style general catering outlets, each 14 square meters, with each outlet's initial annual price set at 100.8 million UZS.

Additionally, lots for leasing areas in the airport's main area with access to the apron are placed on the E-auksion.uz electronic platform. Specifically, spaces for airline offices, each 40 sq.m with an initial annual price set at 192 million UZS, are available.

These auctions will take place on the E-auksion.uz electronic platform on January 6, 2025.

Participating companies must meet the technical conditions. Requirements for each lot and starting prices are available on the E-auksion website. According to the auction rules, the initial annual sums may increase by at least 10 percent during the bidding process.
