Israelis with Russian citizenship may be subject to military service if they travel to Russia, according to the Israeli Foreign Ministry.

According to the Ministry, individuals with dual citizenship must adhere to Russian laws regarding military draft, as well as entry and exit requirements.

It was added that a person with dual citizenship could enter the country without a Russian foreign passport, but might not be able to leave.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry had issued a similar statement at the beginning of Russia's wide-scale invasion of Ukraine. However, it is unclear why a new reminder has emerged.
