A citizen who fell into a 40-meter well in Fergana district of Fergana region has been rescued.
According to the regional Emergency Situations Department, in the courtyard of houses on Sohibkor street, Fergana district, a citizen born in 1977, X.D., fell to the bottom of a 40-meter deep well when his personal electric winch failed to work.
Immediately afterwards, an appeal for help was made to the Emergency Department. Rescuers from the regional special-purpose rescue team of the Emergency Situations Department arrived at the scene.
As a result of the rescuers' efforts, the citizen was saved. No bodily injuries were sustained. No immediate medical aid was provided, and his health is reported to be good, according to the report.
