The explosion of an air-gas mixture occurred in the "Ahmadali Khoji" Jami mosque located in the territory of the "Mirzo Ulugbek" MFC of the Izbuskan district, Andijan region. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported about this.

According to the report, the leadership of the regional MES and responsible persons arrived at the scene, and the situation was fully taken under control.

According to preliminary information, 6 people received bodily injuries.

The Ministry noted that additional information about the incident will be provided.

According to the information provided by the regional khokimiyat, the explosion was caused by the collapse of the mosque's ablution facility.
