As you are aware, the practice of accepting cash payments on buses in Tashkent city has been completely abandoned. Now, passengers are making their fare payments electronically or through single-use QR tickets here.
It's noted that, while most passengers are making their payments on time and acknowledging the convenience of the system, there are still incidents where some passengers leave the bus without paying the fare for no reason at all.
For this reason, intensified raid operations have begun on buses in Tashkent city by the staff of the Transport Control Inspection and the State Enterprise for Monitoring and Control of Public Transport in Tashkent city.
When passengers make their fare payments with single-use QR tickets, they must keep these QR tickets with them during the journey and show them to the controllers and inspectors upon request.
We remind you that, according to Article 144 Clause 5 of the Administrative Responsibility Code, travelling on a bus within the city and its suburbs without a ticket will result in a fine amounting to one-tenth of the base calculation unit.
