Artificial rain technology will be implemented in Uzbekistan.
For the first time in the history of Uzbekistan, an advanced technological device that allows for artificial rain has been launched. This important initiative was carried out in the Konimex district of the Navoi region. Read more.
For many years, scarcity, drought, and lack of water have been posing serious problems for agriculture and livestock in the region. The reduction of natural gifts also had a negative impact on the lifestyle of the local population and food security.
To solve existing problems, a new method was chosen in the district – a modern device capable of artificially forming clouds in the atmosphere and causing rain was brought in. This technology, being used for the first time in Uzbekistan, is primarily aimed at combating drought and improving the condition of pastures.
The project is being implemented in collaboration with the “International Centre of Climate Change Technologies” (ICCT) based in Kazakhstan. With the help of this technology, local farms will be less dependent on water reserves, especially in ensuring the stability of livestock and agricultural production.
According to ecological experts, this initiative not only encourages the rational use of natural resources but also plays an important role in preserving the environmental balance, enhancing agricultural potential, and adapting to climate changes.
If this innovative approach proves to be successful in practice, it can be applied to other regions as well.
