In a conversation with Tesla investors, Elon Musk announced that he will now dedicate only one or two days a week to working with Donald Trump. This statement came on the day Tesla published its quarterly report.
According to the report, the company's net profit decreased by 71%, and revenue from car sales decreased by 20%. This is the largest quarterly decline in Tesla's history.
NPR writes that Musk's political activism also contributed to the company's problems. Demand for Tesla cars has sharply decreased among Democrats because this segment chooses more electric cars.
Musk, however, refuted these ideas, citing robotics and autonomous robots as the main source of income.
