In the Mirabad district of Tashkent, it was discovered that two individuals were cultivating a narcotic plant under greenhouse conditions in their home. This was reported by the capital's Ministry of Internal Affairs Press Service.
It is noted that they grew the prohibited plant in a greenhouse style, in pots, using special lighting and air exchange devices. The plants consisted of 12 bushes, with heights ranging from 60 cm to 170 cm.
In addition, dried narcotic plants prepared for consumption were also found in the household. All narcotic plants and substances were seized as evidence.
Furthermore, another case was discovered in this area. When the household was inspected with the participation of impartial witnesses, it was found that the homeowner was cultivating narcotic substances. Upon seeing the law enforcement officers, the individual attempted to dispose of the evidence by throwing it into the water. However, this attempt was unsuccessful.
With the participation of impartial witnesses, these narcotic substances were also officially seized and sent for expert analysis.
Currently, they could face a penalty of imprisonment ranging from 10 to 20 years.
