According to the Ministry of Defense, this shell was unearthed and handed over to scrap metal by local shepherds in a territory not controlled by the ministry.
It is noted that in such situations, citizens must immediately report to law enforcement agencies while adhering to safety regulations.
It has been clarified that the military personnel had no connection to this incident and were not subjected to any criminal liability. This type of shell does not exist in the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan. According to the information, this type of shell was used in the 1970s.
Currently, preliminary investigation actions are being conducted by the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
