A fire occurred at a propane gas filling station in Olot district of Bukhara region. According to the Regional Department of Emergency Situations, as reported, the incident took place on May 23 at 21:15 at the “Siroj Service” LLC station, located in Jayhunobod community.
A spark occurred while filling a “Kamaz” truck with gas, leading to the fire. Two fire crews arrived at the scene at 21:19, and the fire was completely extinguished by 21:40.
It is noted that there have been cases of citizens receiving physical injuries while attempting to extinguish the fire. Currently, they are under medical supervision, and their condition is good.
“There were no explosions as a result of the fire”, says the department's report.
The fire damaged the gas filling units and parts of the liquefied hydrocarbon gas on the side of the vehicle.
It is suspected that the fire was caused by a disruption of the technological process during the fuel filling.
