According to Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Moscow proposed holding the second round of direct negotiations with Ukraine in Istanbul on Monday, June 2, 2025.
"The Russian side, in accordance with the agreement, promptly developed a corresponding memorandum reflecting its position on the sustainable elimination of the causes of the crisis. "Our delegation - headed by Vladimir Medinsky - is ready to present this memorandum to the Ukrainian side and provide the necessary explanations," Lavrov said.
Official Kyiv has not yet responded to this proposal.
