At the conclusion of the negotiations held in the city of Tashkent, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev signed a joint declaration on expanding bilateral cooperation. This was reported by the Presidential Press Service here.

In the presence of the leaders, bilateral documents were exchanged, including the cooperation program for the years 2026-2027 between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, and an agreement on establishing partnership relations between the cities of Tashkent and Sofia.

At the conclusion of the high-level negotiations, a tree planting ceremony took place at the Kok-Saray residence here.

Presidents Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Rumen Radev planted trees in the Honorary Guests’ Alley as a symbol of the friendship and cooperation of our peoples and a new chapter in the history of bilateral relations.
