According to the data from the National Statistics Committee, in the months of January-April 2025, a total of 22,600 Indian citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes.
This figure has increased by 6,000 people or 35.6% compared to the same period of the previous year.
The purposes of visits by Indian citizens to Uzbekistan in the months of January-April of the current year are as follows:
- tourism - 13,937 people;
- on official business - 5,959 people;
- for study - 2,540 people;
- to visit relatives - 203 people;
- for business - 8 people;
- for treatment - 2 people.
