From June 16–19, 2025, very hot air masses are expected to enter our country from the south. This information was reported by the Hydrometeorological Service Agency.
On June 16–17, in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the Khorezm region, and on June 17–19, in the rest of Uzbekistan, daytime temperatures are expected to rise to 40–42 degrees, reaching up to 43–44 degrees in some southern and desert areas.
Across the republic, wind speeds may increase to 13–18 m/s, with possible dust storms in some areas.
The public is advised to take precautions during the days when the air temperature sharply increases.
