Donald Trump ordered a strike on Iran's nuclear facilities, "dragging the US into a new conflict," according to Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev.
"Trump, who came in as a peace-loving president, has started a new war," — he writes on his Telegram channel.
Medvedev emphasizes that "the vast majority of the world is against the actions of Israel and the US," with some countries even ready to "directly supply Iran with their nuclear warheads." However, Medvedev did not specify whether Russia, considered Iran's "strategic partner," is among them.
Medvedev also noted that the American strike did not cause significant damage but rallied Iranians around the Ayatollah regime, and now he believes Tehran will definitely create nuclear weapons. "Such success will not win Trump the Nobel Peace Prize… A good start, congratulations, Mr. President!" — he writes.
