The country's parliament has taken a strong decision against international pressures. According to local media reports, the majority of Iranian parliament members approved the suspension of the country's cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

According to the law, IAEA inspectors can no longer enter Iran to inspect nuclear facilities. This was announced by the spokesman of the parliamentary presidium, Alireza Salimi, to the ISNA news agency.

He stated that any external inspections are rejected until the security and peaceful purposes of Iran's nuclear facilities are guaranteed.

This decision was made after the head of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi, demanded inspections of Iran's nuclear sites, particularly the reserves of enriched uranium.

He mentioned that satellite images of the Fordow nuclear complex clearly showed craters formed as a result of explosions.

According to Grossi, explosive materials might have been used and the central centrifuges could have been damaged. However, it is currently impossible to fully assess the extent of the damage.
