Tablets containing Oxycodone, a type of narcotic substance, were detected in flour bags that came from America-Israel humanitarian aid centers. The Gaza sector government's press service reported this, writes "zamon.uz".
“Placing narcotics into bags filled with flour is a vile crime aimed against the health of citizens and the social structure of society,” the statement said.
The Gaza authorities are accusing Israel of attempting to spread drug addiction among Palestinians under the guise of humanitarian aid by smuggling narcotic substances. In the opinion of officials, the use of such substances as a “filthy weapon of soft warfare” is considered a military crime and violates international humanitarian law norms.
The authority representatives have urged the population receiving food from such centers to be vigilant, to carefully inspect humanitarian aid, and to report suspicious substances immediately.
