Today, the criminal panel of the Kashkadarya regional court concluded an open court hearing on a criminal case concerning K. M. (born in 1982 in the Samarkand region, who worked as the chairman of the criminal court in Denov district), and a verdict was announced. The Supreme Court Press Service reported this.
This criminal case was considered at first instance under the chairmanship of O. Mamadaliyev, the deputy chairman of the Kashkadarya regional court - chairman of the criminal panel.
According to the court's verdict, K. M. was found guilty of committing a crime provided by part 2 of Article 266 of the Criminal Code (violating the rules of road traffic or the use of vehicles) and was sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment with a deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for 3 years. The sentenced prison time is to be served in a penal colony.
Parties have the right to file an appeal/cassation against the first instance court's verdict within the prescribed legal period and procedure to the criminal panel of the Kashkadarya regional court.
