In Syrdarya region, a 62-year-old father-in-law who made a lascivious act towards his daughter-in-law was punished administratively.
It was reported that the man lived in the same house with his daughter-in-law for the last 9 months because he could not get along with his wife. His son had been working in Russia.
In court, the father-in-law clarified the nature of his relationship with his daughter-in-law. According to him, the daughter-in-law asked him for a kiss in return for getting her gold. The father-in-law agreed, and this situation repeated several times. It was also revealed that they went to Jizzakh together to buy gold.
According to the daughter-in-law's statement, her father-in-law kissed and hugged her in the kitchen and living room. Although she resisted, her father-in-law did not stop these actions. At that point, the daughter-in-law recorded the incident on video and stated that she didn't resist further actions for this reason.
During the court discussion, the accused requested leniency, stating that such an incident would not happen again and that there was no sexual intercourse.
The man was found guilty by the Sardoba district court under part 1 of article 41-1 of the Administrative Responsibility Code and was sentenced to 5 days of administrative detention.
