According to sources, this aid could be "a clear signal to Russia, which has recently struck Ukraine with drones and missiles."
Although the exact amount of aid has not been specified, Trump still has $3.85 billion remaining from the Biden administration, which could be used to deliver U.S. military equipment to Ukraine.
Additionally, the U.S. government could seize and redirect nearly $5 billion in frozen Russian assets abroad to Ukraine. However, neither Biden nor Trump has utilized this authority so far.
Such potential financial measures are seen as part of a strategy to increase pressure on Russia and militarily support Ukraine.
