In Uzbekistan, more than 22 kg of narcotic substances were seized.

Currently, criminal cases have been initiated against all suspects, and they have been taken into custody as a precautionary measure.

As a result of rapid measures carried out by the State Security Service in cooperation with internal affairs and customs authorities, the illegal circulation of more than 22 kg 585 grams of narcotics was stopped nationwide.

In Surkhandarya region, Denov district, a male passenger born in 1987, previously convicted, was detained while traveling in a "Cobalt" vehicle with 9 kg of "hashish" substance. It was reported that this substance was brought from Tajikistan and intended for sale.

Fergana region. Two citizens born in 1994 and 1988 were caught while transporting 5.8 kg of "hashish" in a car. They attempted to sell this substance for 89 million soums per kg, and another individual born in 1997, who was waiting to receive it, was also detained. The leader behind the crime—a resident of Sokh district born in 1987—was also apprehended.

Namangan city. A previously convicted citizen born in 1992 was caught along with his criminal accomplice while attempting to sell 3.95 kg of "hashish" for 38 thousand US dollars. An additional 868 grams of narcotics were found in his home.

Surkhandarya region, Altinsoy district Two men born in 1969 and 1986 were detained while attempting to sell 1.96 kg of "opium" substance brought from Tajikistan for 200 million soums.

Syrdarya region. Two previously convicted citizens residing in Fergana and Andijan regions were apprehended by the relevant authorities while attempting to sell 943 grams of "opium" substance brought from Tajikistan.

During the rapid measures, the illegal trade of more than 22 kg of narcotics in total was disrupted.

Currently, criminal cases have been initiated against all suspects, and they have been taken into custody as a preventive measure. Investigative actions are ongoing.
