Today, on July 24, a strong fire broke out on a 2-hectare area in the Boʻstonliq district of the Tashkent region. The fire, which started at 11:16, was extinguished by 17:57. This was reported by the Emergency Situations Department of the Tashkent region.
According to reports, at 11:16, the Emergency Situations Department of the Tashkent region received information about dry grass and shrubs burning on approximately 2 hectares of land in the mountainous area of the "Khojakent" neighborhood in the Boʻstonliq district. Based on the report, fire and rescue teams from the Emergency Situations Department, along with personnel from relevant organizations, arrived at the scene by 11:30.
Airbus Helicopters H215M and Airbus Helicopters H215 helicopters belonging to the Ministry of Defense were involved in the fire extinguishing efforts. The military helicopters carried water in specialized buckets (Bambi Bucket) designed for water transport and assisted in suppressing the fire.
