A major fire broke out at an oil well in Turkey.

A major fire broke out at the "Uchtepa-1" oil well located in Turkey's Diyarbakır province. CNN Turk reported this.

It was noted that 112 emergency medical teams and fire rescue crews were mobilized to extinguish the fire. Eight people were injured as a result of the fire.

The victims of the incident were transported to hospitals in the city by ambulance.

It was reported that the staff on duty at the scene closed the oil tank and prevented the fire from escalating.
