“Neferpitou”, a hacker with an unknown alias, has leaked 13 GB of internal documents belonging to the Naval Group company. The total volume of the confidential files exceeds 1 terabyte. This was reported by Zamon.uz.

Among the leaked documents are the complete software specifications of frigates and nuclear submarines used by the French naval forces, weapon system codes, network diagrams, user manuals, and internal correspondence. This information is considered highly significant from a strategic and technological standpoint.

The security breach is not limited to Naval Group alone; it has also affected systems related to major defense corporations such as Thales, Dassault Aviation, and Safran. These companies are among France's largest military manufacturers.

Notably, the hacker did not seek any financial gain from the attack. They publicly released all the data for free within 72 hours. Experts assess this attack as a “threat exposing the digital vulnerability of France's defense industry.” Officials have not yet issued an official statement regarding the situation.
