The Consul General of Uzbekistan in Vladivostok, Russia, Yusuf Kabuljonov, addressed the Uzbek citizens in the Far Eastern Federal District.

It was noted that the consulate general called on Uzbek citizens in the territories of Kamchatka and Sakhalin regions to follow the instructions of emergency services and remain calm.

According to information provided by the Kamchatka health department, all necessary medical assistance measures have been taken for the patients, and there are no Uzbek citizens among those severely injured during the earthquake.

Additionally, the country's Ministry of Emergency Situations warned residents to move to higher ground and avoid coastal areas due to the tsunami threat.
