Three earthquakes with magnitudes of 5.8, 5.2, and 5.2 occurred within one hour along the coast of the Kamchatka Peninsula.
This was reported by the Kamchatka branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences' Unified Geophysical Service.
The first earthquake occurred 187 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, the second - 238 km, and the third - 218 km away. The epicenter of the first seismic event was at a depth of 18.9 km, the second at 44.8 km, and the third at 33.8 km.
