On August 1 of this year, the body of a woman who died in Japan was returned to Uzbekistan.
In accordance with Resolution No. 252 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, practical assistance was provided by our country's embassy in Japan and the Migration Agency to cover the expenses related to repatriating the body to the homeland, as well as purchasing air tickets for the deceased's two underage children and her spouse.
The consular officer of the embassy assisted in the organizational work of handing over the deceased citizen's body for the flight, and family members returning to Uzbekistan on this flight were met at the airport.
