A woman in the city of Kokand, Fergana region, who had failed to pay alimony, settled her debts during court proceedings.

According to reports, the woman from Kokand faced objections from her husband when she planned to move abroad, leading to their divorce. After their three children were placed under the father's custody, the mother was ordered to pay alimony.

For a year, the woman avoided her alimony obligations under various pretexts. Enforcement actions were initiated based on a court ruling to recover the overdue alimony payments.

The debtor mother was issued an administrative notice by the state enforcement officer and the case was submitted to the Kokand City Court for legal review. During the court proceedings, the woman paid 85 million soums in debt for her three underage children, leading to the termination of the case under Article 271 of the Administrative Responsibility Code.
