According to Reuters, Russian President Vladimir Putin has put forward a series of conditions to stop the war in Ukraine.

They are as follows:

— Peace will only be implemented after a full agreement;

— The Ukrainian army must fully withdraw from Donetsk and Luhansk;

— It is proposed to freeze the front line in Kherson and Zaporizhzhia;

— Russia agrees to withdraw from Sumy and Kharkiv regions;

— Russia's sovereignty over Crimea must be officially recognized;

— Sanctions against Russia must be lifted, at least partially;

— Ukraine's NATO membership is strictly prohibited;

— Ukraine may receive security guarantees;

— Official status for the Russian language and guarantees for the activities of the Russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine are demanded.

These conditions have not yet been officially rejected by Ukraine and the West, but Zelensky and Western leaders have previously stated they would not accept such a "peace with conditions."
