At the independence day celebration held in Kyiv, Zelenskyy awarded an order to Keith Kellogg, Donald Trump's special representative, for his services in strengthening interstate cooperation.
The new Prime Minister of Canada, Mark Carney, also participated in the ceremony. During his first official visit, he announced that Ukraine would be allocated one billion Canadian dollars (approximately 617 million euros) in military aid.
For reference, Keith Kellogg is a retired US general who was one of the national security advisors during Donald Trump's presidency.
He is currently serving as Trump's special envoy for international affairs.
