Telegram founder Pavel Durov commented on the arrest that took place in France a year ago.

He called this event a "mistake by the French police" and emphasized that no charges against Telegram have been proven.

"Until August 2024, they did not send a legal request to Telegram. Despite the investigation lasting a year, neither I nor Telegram were found guilty," he wrote on his channel.

Durov also noted that he is forced to return to France every 14 days, but the appeal deadline has not yet been set.

According to him, this incident has damaged France's reputation as a free country.
