A final declaration was adopted at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit held in Tianjin. It noted the necessity of UN reform and also outlined issues such as developing cooperation in the military, energy, and transport sectors, and ensuring artificial intelligence security.

The document condemned the air strikes by Israel and the US against Iran. At the same time, the issue of Ukraine was not mentioned.

Russian President Vladimir Putin made statements at the gathering justifying the war against Ukraine. According to him, the aggression was launched in response to a "coup orchestrated by the West." Putin also positively assessed the initiatives of China and India and held meetings within the summit's framework with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

The meetings discussed the issue of ending the war and economic cooperation.
