US military forces targeted and destroyed a boat carrying narcotics belonging to Venezuela in the southern Caribbean Sea. According to an official statement, the strike resulted in the deaths of 11 members of the "Tren de Aragua" group.
At a press conference at the White House, Trump described this event as "a precise strike carried out in the last few minutes."
He then also released a video, emphasizing that this action was "a warning to those planning to bring narcotics into the US."
"Tren de Aragua" is considered one of the major "narcoterrorist" groups that originated in Venezuela and operates in the region. The US government has designated this group as an organization threatening international security.
