Worrisome news about a child being kidnapped in the city of Tashkent has been spreading on social networks. According to the studies of the IIB, the situation was actually different.

Text: On September 11, at approximately 12:30, a woman born in 1980 called "102" and reported that an unfamiliar woman was trying to take her daughter, born in 2013.

According to the Tashkent City IIB, in this case, a girl named S.J., born in 2005, was merely helping M.A. cross the road on a pedestrian path near the "Uchinchi Metro" station.

At the time, she was talking on the phone and, holding the child by the shoulder, safely escorted them across the road section.

The situation has been fully studied and taken under control. During the pre-investigation check, no signs of a crime were identified. The IIB asks citizens not to spread unconfirmed information.
