On October 6, 2025, a passenger train and a truck collided in the Republic of Karakalpakstan. This was reported by JSC "Uzbekistan Railways".

It is reported that the incident occurred at 15:31 at an unguarded railway crossing located at the 8th picket of the 531st km between the Turtkul and Ellikkala stations, which belongs to the Kungirat regional railway hub. Train No. 128 on the Kungirat-Andijan route collided with a KamAZ truck that was moving despite the railway crossing signal signs.

As a result, the truck driver was sent to the hospital. There were 216 passengers on the passenger train, and their health was not harmed. Because the locomotive could not pull the train, diesel locomotive UzTE16M2 No. 025 was dispatched from the scene of the accident at 16:15.

"Relevant leaders and law enforcement officers arrived at the scene. Investigation is currently ongoing," the report says.

We remind you that on July 30 of this year, a truck and a train collided at an unguarded railway crossing at the 592nd kilometer between the Baday and Beruniy stations in the territory of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
