According to the President, at a time when geopolitical and economic confrontation is intensifying in the world, Uzbekistan is moving decisively towards strengthening peace and increasing the prosperity of the people.
He called the contribution of the working people and trade unions in this process invaluable.
Mirziyoyev noted that in recent years, investments worth $130 billion have been attracted, millions of jobs have been created, and per capita income has reached $3.5 thousand. It was also recalled that the eradication of child and forced labor was recognized by the International Labor Organization.
The head of state emphasized that all conditions have been created for the free and independent activity of trade unions in Uzbekistan, and their role in protecting human rights and interests will continue to be supported.
