On social networks, a man named Namangan raped a minor girl. Following this, news spread that the girl was hospitalized.
Reportedly, the man was convicted in 2014 for satisfying sexual needs through violent and unnatural means, and in 2020 for committing the crime of rape.
The current incident occurred on October 14 of this year. He went to the residence of his male cousin for a wedding ceremony.
At the wedding, he deceitfully took advantage of the fact that his cousin's granddaughter, I.K., born in 2018, was a minor, and led her away. He then raped the girl and hid her from the scene of the incident.
The man was subsequently apprehended after a two-day search. By the decision of the Yangiqo‘rg‘on District Court on October 16, 2025, a pre-trial detention measure in the form of imprisonment was applied against him in the criminal cases.
