At the meeting held on October 21, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced that from now on, state agencies in Uzbekistan will be prohibited from storing data on their own servers.

From now on, all data will be transferred to the unified data center of E-Government.

According to the head of state, currently, ministries and agencies store data in various formats and in a fragmented manner. This, in turn, hinders the effective implementation of artificial intelligence systems.

"If the data is insufficient, artificial intelligence will not produce the expected result," says Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The Minister of Digital Technologies was instructed to transfer the databases of 55 agencies to the unified center by the end of this year, and all remaining systems by 2026.

Furthermore, it is planned that by the end of 2026, a Data Lake platform will be launched, which will allow for the consolidation of large volumes of digital data and provide the capability to analyze and process them.

This decision is expected to facilitate the effective use of artificial intelligence in public administration, systematically streamline digitalization processes, and ensure data security.
