Physical violence was committed against a social worker in the administrative building of a neighborhood citizens' gathering in the city of Andijan. The National Agency for Social Protection reported on this.
It is noted that the incident occurred today, on November 1. M.D., born in 1988, with a higher education, a mother of four children, who has been working as a social worker providing comprehensive social services at the "Inson" center since June 2024, was the victim.
The reason for the conflict was that the compensation payment of 1 million soum for electricity, intended for the citizens of the neighborhood - Y.G., born in 1985, and Y.D., born in 1991, was withheld by the bank to cover a debt.
During the altercation, one of these citizens struck the social worker with a ceramic teapot in their hand, causing bodily injuries to the face and hand.
A report was filed by the social worker D.M. to number 102, and pre-investigation checks are currently being carried out regarding the situation. A forensic medical examination has been appointed to determine the severity of the injuries inflicted.
