In one of the public catering outlets located in the area of the household goods market in the Tarakkiyot neighborhood of Guliston city, 100 million soums will be provided to the families of those killed as a result of a gas cylinder explosion. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev informed about this at an extraordinary session of the Council of People's Deputies of Syrdarya region on December 4.
The President expressed deep condolences to their family members. An instruction was given to allocate financial assistance of 100 million soums to the families of the victims within three days.
According to the instruction, a brigade of 10 qualified doctors, headed by the director of the Republican Emergency Medical Care Center, is providing free quality medical and psychological assistance to the victims.
The responsible authorities were instructed to promptly determine the causes of this tragic incident and ensure the rule of law.
In general, it was noted that this tragedy should be a major lesson for the emergency situations system. It was stated that all responsible persons should switch to a 24-hour work regime to prevent such incidents during the winter months.
