During an environmental raid conducted in the Shahrikhon district of Andijan region, the cost of a destroyed tandir oven was covered by the district governor. This was reported by Rahmatillo Razzakov, the first deputy governor of Shahrikhon district.

According to him, a raid was conducted on illegally installed tandir ovens by the roadside at public catering establishments on the instruction of the district governor. During the event, one tandir was destroyed, and two others were moved indoors and are currently in use. "The money for the destroyed tandir was paid by the governor from his own pocket," said Razzakov.

However, a video published by the district administration on its official pages shows three tandir ovens of different types being destroyed, which differs from the official information.
