During the rapid preventive measures "Safe and Healthy Country" carried out in the Fergana region in November, a large number of narcotic substances were identified and confiscated. During the measures carried out in cooperation with the Fergana Regional DIA, the State Customs Committee and other law enforcement agencies, more than 30 kg, that is, 60 thousand doses of narcotic substances with a total value exceeding 7 billion soums were seized.
Furthermore, 17,091 units of potent medicines were also identified, and according to experts' calculations, the poisoning of approximately 20 thousand citizens was prevented.
