A 26-year-old man living in Shofirkon district was found to have allocated a room in his house for paid services and was sentenced by the court.
During the rapid response operation, it became known that he had rented out the room in his house to acquaintances for 200,000 soums. During the trial, the man expressed regret for his actions and fully admitted his guilt.
According to the verdict of the Shofirkon district court, he was found guilty under Article 131 of the Criminal Code (keeping a brothel or complicity) and sentenced to 2 years and 6 months of restriction of liberty.
The 200,000 soums received during the operation were transferred to the state account as evidence. His admission of guilt and remorse were noted as mitigating circumstances.
