In Tashkent, one person died as a result of the YTH incident.

On December 20 of this year, a road traffic accident involving Lacetti and Nexia-3 model cars occurred in Tashkent city. As a result of this accident, one passenger died. 

According to the report from the press service of the Traffic Safety Department, the road traffic accident occurred in the Yashnabad district at approximately 03:45. According to preliminary information, the Lacetti model car was driven by a 21-year-old driver, who lost control, veered into the oncoming lane, and collided with a Nexia-3 car driven by a 47-year-old driver.

As a result of the collision, a passenger in the Nexia-3 car sustained severe bodily injuries and died at the scene. Medical assistance was provided to the drivers of both vehicles. 

It is reported that regarding this incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 266 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan — "Violation of traffic safety rules or rules for operating vehicles," and investigative actions are currently being carried out.
