Today, on December 30, an extraordinary session of the Kumkorgan District Council of People's Deputies was held. The Governor of Surkhandarya region, Ulugbek Kasimov, participated in it. An organizational issue was considered at the session, and Anvar Normamatov, who had served as the district governor until this day, was relieved of his post.
The regional governor proposed Farrukh Omonovich Kholikov as a candidate for the position of district governor, and he was approved by the deputies. He was recommended from the National Personnel Reserve. Prior to his appointment, Farrukh Kholikov served as the Prosecutor of the Denov District.
We remind you that at the session of the district council on September 12 of this year, Anvar Normamatov's advice to the population to burn dung in winter due to problems with gas supply caused public discussions.
