"Post Nord" is considered the national postal service of this country with a 401-year history. Now this institution intends to focus not on letters, but on delivering parcels.

The statement noted that the operator has seen a decline in demand for letter delivery services. In 2000, the company delivered 1.5 billion letters. Now this figure is only 100 million. This is because most Danes have switched to digital communication.

From now on, in the Kingdom, delivering a letter written on paper to its addressee will be carried out only by private companies.

All mailboxes across Denmark will be removed.
