Akhmat Kadyrov, the 20-year-old son of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, has been appointed acting Deputy Prime Minister of the Chechen Republic. Kadyrov announced this via his Telegram channel.

It is reported that Akhmat Kadyrov will simultaneously retain his position as Minister of Physical Culture and Sports of the Republic. Additionally, Minister of National Policy and Information Akhmat Dudayev has also been appointed acting Deputy Prime Minister.

Akhmat Kadyrov was born in 2005. In recent years, he has worked as an advisor to the head of Chechnya, Minister of Youth Policy, Minister of Physical Culture and Sports, and as president of the "Akhmat" football club.
