During the rapid operational measures carried out in collaboration with the State Security Service and internal affairs bodies, a large quantity of narcotic substances smuggled into our country was seized.

During an urgent operation conducted in collaboration with the DIA's regional directorate for Namangan region, Border Troops, and Internal Affairs officers, two citizens residing in Andijan city were detained while crossing the state border area in the Uzbek-Kyrgyz Uychi district.

As a result of the inspection, 19 kg 169 grams of "hashish" substance were discovered in their travel bag and seized as material evidence. Subsequently, another compatriot who arrived to pick up the narcotics was also apprehended.

Furthermore, in another urgent operation, a previously convicted woman residing in Yangi Namangan district was caught while receiving 1 kg 953 grams of "hashish" sent from Margilan.

Currently, criminal cases have been initiated against these individuals under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are being carried out.
